Ooh La La julkaistaan 16.6
Britney oli suruissaan Ooh La La -biisin ennenaikaisesta vuotamisesta ja kertoi, että se julkaistaan 16.6. Vuotanut versio oli demo, joten muutoksia on luvassa.

Oops-albumi täyttää vuosia
Britney toinen studioalbumi Oops!... I Did It Again täyttää jo 13 vuotta. Vuosien vieriminen sai Britneyn tunnustamaan Twitterissä, että hän tuntee olonsa vanhaksi, eikä hän ole ainoa :D Mikä on teidän lempibiisinne? Jos pitäisi valita vain kaksi, itse sanoisin (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction ja When Your Eyes Say It, josta olen vasta parin viime vuoden aikana oppinut pitämään.

Albumin äänitys alkaa ensi viikolla
will.i.am kertoi BillBoardille, että Britney alkaa äänittämään kahdeksatta albumiaan ensi viikolla. Äänitystä on edeltänyt viikkojen taustatyö ja haastattelusessiot, koska hän haluaa albumista entistä henkilökohtaisemman. Tämä tulee olemaan erittäin kiintoisaa!
"We start next week," Will.i.am said of the recording sessions, speaking on the lawn before the Clios at the Museum of Natural History in New York. "Before we even start we've had these juicy sessions, where we've been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I've never worked like this before – not even the Peas."
Spears has been spending the last few weeks in meetings with Will.i.am, opening up about her life before a single song has been recorded.
"I wanted to just go to lunch for two months, which is totally different from how you typically do it. I said, 'Let's talk about what you're excited about. Let's talk about things you've done in you career, what you're happy about. Let's talk about spending time with your kids, let's talk about your breakup. Let's talk about how now you're single, how independent you might feel.' We started talking about all that stuff. So I said, 'do you mind if I write this down? I don't mean to impose but I want to interview you. I need this to create a filter.'"
Taking the filter approach to Britney's personal life, Will.i.am added, means that "when people start bringing us stuff, I can say 'Actually we can't have this song. Yes, we want dance songs but that's a little too dark.' I want it to fit with the emotions. I'm really excited about that and honored that she trusts me. I don't want to let her down. I just want to do it the way a brand would do it. They wouldn't say, 'Take this. Put it out.' That's not what you would do. You'd come up with a mood board, the logos, the font, all the other stuff."

Levy-yhtiö yrittää poistattaa sitä YouTubesta sitä mukaa kun niitä ilmestyy, mutta se on nyt liian myöhäistä. Voit kuunnella biisin täällä ja sanat löytyvät täältä. Take one look at Britney Spears and it’s clear she’s never been in better shape. “I’m working out really hard for my upcoming shows in Vegas,” the singer says of her two-year engagement at Planet Hollywood, which should open by fall. “The performances won’t be special—they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”
“I’m excited because the shows will have state-of-the-art technology and be really cutting-edge. But a big part of my decision to do this was my boys. When they’re not with me in Nevada, I can hop on a plane and be with them in Los Angeles in 45 minutes.”

She recorded the single “Ooh La La” for this summer’s family comedy The Smurfs 2, and is currently in the studio working on her eighth CD. While a release date hasn’t been scheduled, the word from Britney is that “the record is definitely going to be more hip-hop than pop this time around.”
